What are the main entities that Plantour operates with

The list below is sorted alphabetically by entity name. It includes account-level records, reusable dictionary entities, and trip-specific entities. Entries that start with Trip, Shared, or Itinerary exist inside a selected trip.
  • Account is the user identity and profile in Plantour. It stores personal access information and connects the user to trips, permissions, and subscription state.
  • Admin is the main owner and organizer of a trip. The admin can create trips, invite people, and assign shared items or shared todos.
  • AI trip plan is an AI-generated trip draft created from a natural-language request. It can include itinerary parts, activities, and item suggestions so the admin can start from a prepared structure instead of building the whole trip manually.
  • AI prompt is a saved or reusable request that asks Plantour AI to suggest items from a trip idea or requirement.
  • Bag is a container, used for holding or carrying items.
  • Dashboard is the main overview page of Plantour. It serves as a starting point for navigation and can also lead users to public pages such as plan selection. The Dashboard for registered users allows to select a trip and see trip summary data. The Dashboard for public users shows general Plantour information and allows plan selection.
  • Item is any specific piece of gear, clothing, or personal essential packed to meet a particular need or handle a specific situation during the trip.
  • Itinerary part is a scheduled trip stop or travel segment in the itinerary. It can include timing, address, notes, and map-related data.
  • Map is the trip map view where itinerary parts and trip activities are shown together on one map.
  • Packing list is the list of items packed into a specific trip bag. Plantour can generate and download it as a PDF so it can be printed or used during travel.
  • Participant is a Traveler included into a trip.
  • Plan is the subscription level for a Plantour account. It defines billing status and the commercial level of service the user has selected.
  • Shared expense is a shared trip expense used for group cost tracking.
  • Shared item is an item intended for shared use by trip participants. It is included in the trip`s shared item list and assigned to a participant for preparation and travel.
  • Shared todo is a trip related task included into a trip`s shared todo list. It can be assigned to a participant so the admin can track who is responsible for completing it.
  • Template item is a reusable suggested packing item from Plantour template collections.
  • Todo is a task or action that needs to be completed.
  • Traveler is a person invited by the Admin. The person has to be a Traveler to have access to the Admin`s trips as a Participant.
  • Trip is a journey or excursion to a specific destination. Can be created by the Admin. Cannot be created by the Participant.
  • Trip activity is an activity planned inside a trip. It can be personal or shared and can include an address for map viewing and directions.
  • Trip bag is a Bag included into one specific trip.
  • Trip comment is a message posted in the trip conversation so participants can discuss that trip in one place.
  • Trip expense is a personal expense tracked inside one specific trip.
  • Trip item is an Item added to one specific trip. It belongs to that trip`s own item list and can be packed into a trip bag.
  • Trip note is a rich-text note stored inside a trip. It can include text, formatting, and images.
  • Trip report is a downloadable summary of a trip and its related trip data. It gives the user a printable snapshot of the trip in one document.
  • Trip todo is a Todo added to one specific trip.
