Choose the correct account type first
- Plantour supports two sign-in paths: Admin and Participant.
- If you are not sure which one applies to you, open Why Admins, Travelers and Participants? first. It explains what each role means and why Plantour keeps them separate.
Admin sign in / sign up
Use this option when you are the Admin who owns trips and manages the account.
- Open Sign In / Sign Up from the toolbar menu.
- Leave the form on Admin.
- Choose one of these sign-in methods:
- Click Google or Facebook to sign in immediately with that provider.
- Or enter your email address and submit the form. Plantour sends you a secure sign-in link by email.
- If no Admin account exists for that email yet, Plantour creates one for you during this flow.
- After successful sign-in, Plantour opens your authenticated workspace and dashboard.
Use the Admin path when you need to create trips, manage reusable Travelers, add trip participants, or control shared trip planning. For the role definition, read Why Admins, Travelers and Participants?.
Participant sign in
Use this option when you were invited into an existing trip as a Participant by an admin.
- The admin usually starts from their reusable Travelers list, then adds one of those travelers to a specific trip as a participant.
- When the admin invites you, Plantour sends an invitation email that includes both an access code and a direct Plantour sign-in link.
- Open Participant Sign In or switch the sign-in form to Participant.
- Enter the access code from that invitation email and submit the form.
- Or use the direct sign-in link from the same invitation email to enter Plantour without typing the code manually.
- After successful sign-in, Plantour opens the trips where you were added as a participant.
- Participant access is narrower than Admin access: you work only in trips that include you, and only with the pages available to participants.
In practice, the reusable person record lives in the admin`s Travelers dictionary, and that traveler becomes a participant only after being added to a specific trip. If you need the role breakdown, read Why Admins, Travelers and Participants?.
