Add a shared todo
Use this when the task belongs to the whole trip and should later be assigned to one participant.
- Click the Dashboard toolbar button, expand the Trip section and click on the Trips link
- Select the trip you want to work in.
- Open the Trip section again and select Shared todos.
- Click the Add button with the plus icon. The Add Trip Shared Todo form opens.
- Enter the shared todo name. You can also fill category and notes.
- Click Submit.
- Plantour saves the shared todo in that trip and returns you to the Shared todos list.
Update a shared todo
Use this when the shared todo already exists and you want to change its details.
- Open Trip > Shared todos for the selected trip.
- Select the shared todo you want to change so it is highlighted.
- Click the Update button with the pencil icon. The Edit Trip Shared Todo form opens.
- Change fields such as name, category, or notes.
- Click Submit.
- Plantour saves the shared todo and returns you to the list.
Changing who is responsible for a shared todo is handled on the Shared todos list itself, not inside the add or update form. For the assignment workflow, continue with How does admin assign shared todos?.
Delete a shared todo
Use this when the trip no longer needs that shared task.
- Open Trip > Shared todos for the selected trip.
- Select the shared todo you want to remove so it is highlighted.
- Click the Delete button with the trash icon.
- Confirm the deletion.
- Plantour removes the shared todo from that trip.
If the todo was already accepted by a participant, review the assignment state first because shared todos are tied to acceptance and assignment status.
