What should admin do if a participant finished an item assignment with failure

Plantour does not expose a special one-click recovery action for a failed shared item. Instead, the admin handles failure by reviewing the failed shared item and then taking a normal management action.
  1. Open Trip > Shared items for the selected trip.
  2. Find the shared item with the failed status. Plantour marks failed items in the assignment status text, and the admin is also notified when a participant finishes with failure.
  3. Review whether the item should stay failed as a record, be updated, be unassigned, or be reassigned.
  4. If the item itself needs correction, select it and use Update to change its details.
  5. If the same participant should no longer own it, clear the assignee or use the target workflow to unassign it.
  6. If another participant should take over, choose a different assignee from the row dropdown or use the Trip participant target to reassign it.
  7. After reassignment, Plantour resets the previous acceptance state so the new participant can accept and handle it.
In practice, a failed shared item means the admin should decide whether to revise the item, remove the assignment, or move the responsibility to someone else.
