How do I work with trip activities

Open personal trip activities

1. Click Dashboard in the toolbar.
2. Open Trip personal > Activities.
3. Plantour opens your personal trip activities for the currently selected trip.

Add, update, or delete activities

• On the personal activities page, you can add, update, or delete your own trip activities.
• An activity can include a name, activity type, dates, address, optional coordinates, notes, and an itinerary part link.

Connect activities to itinerary parts

• Use the itinerary part selector in the activity form when you want to attach the activity to one itinerary part.
• In the activity list, Plantour can show or hide itinerary part selectors by using the page menu option Show Itinerary Parts or Hide Itinerary Parts.
• When itinerary parts are visible, you can reassign an activity to a different itinerary part directly from the list.
• This helps keep the activity plan aligned with the trip route and timing.

Use activities on the map and in Google Maps directions

• Open Map from the Dashboard`s Trip section when you want to see itinerary parts and your activities together on one map.
• Activities with valid coordinates or a geocodable address can be shown on the map and included in visible activity paths.
• Use the path controls on the map page to show or hide itinerary and activity paths before sending directions.
• Use Get directions on the map page when you want Plantour to send the currently visible itinerary and activity route points to Google Maps.

Review and narrow the activity lists

• Use Filter by Name when you want to narrow the list by activity name.
• Use the Activity filter when you want to show only one activity type.
• Use Sort by Name if you want the list alphabetically.
• Activity rows can show schedule, address, itinerary-part link, and activity type so you can review the plan quickly.
