How do I work with the trip itinerary

Open the itinerary for the current trip

1. Click Dashboard in the toolbar.
2. Open the Trip section.
3. Click Itinerary.
4. Plantour opens the Trip itinerary page for the currently selected trip.

Add, update, or delete itinerary parts

1. Use Add to create a new itinerary part.
2. Select an itinerary part in the list and use Update to edit it.
3. Select an itinerary part and use Delete if you want to remove it from the trip.
4. After saving, Plantour returns you to the itinerary list and keeps the saved part selected.

Review and narrow the itinerary list

• Each row can show the itinerary part name, category, schedule, address, and notes.
• Use Sort by Start Date when you want to see the trip in time order.
• Use Sort by Name when you want an alphabetical list instead.
• Use filters such as Filter by Name and Category when the itinerary grows longer.

Use the itinerary together with the map and activities

• Use the itinerary when you want to define where the trip goes and when each part happens.
• Open Map from the Dashboard`s Trip section when you want to see itinerary parts and activities together on one map.
• When itinerary parts have valid coordinates or a geocodable address, Plantour can show them on the map and include them in the visible route.
• Use Get directions on the map page when you want Plantour to send the visible itinerary route to Google Maps.
• Continue with trip activities when you want to plan what happens inside each part of the trip.
