Add a bag to the dictionary
Use this when you want to save a reusable bag or container in your Bags dictionary.
- Open the Dashboard, expand the Dictionary section, and click Bags.
- Click the Add button with the plus icon. The Add Bag form opens.
- Enter the bag name. Add notes if you want to keep extra details about that bag.
- Click Submit.
- Plantour saves the bag in your Bags dictionary and returns you to the list.
- Make sure the new bag is visible in the list. If needed, use the name filter to find it faster.
Use the dictionary when you want to keep reusable bags such as Backpack, Suitcase, Carry-on, or Document Folder and copy them into trips later.
Update an existing dictionary bag
Use this when you want to change the saved name or notes of a bag in your Bags dictionary.
- Open the Dashboard, expand the Dictionary section, and click Bags.
- Select the bag you want to change so it is highlighted.
- Click the Update button with the pencil icon. The Edit Bag form opens.
- Change the fields you want to update.
- Click Submit.
- Plantour saves the updated dictionary bag and returns you to the list.
Updating a bag in your dictionary does not change trip bags that were already copied into trips earlier. Those trip bags keep their own trip data.
Delete a bag from the dictionary
Use this when you no longer want a bag to stay in your reusable dictionary.
- Open the Dashboard, expand the Dictionary section, and click Bags.
- Select the bag you want to remove so it is highlighted.
- Click the Delete button with the trash icon.
- Confirm the deletion.
- Plantour removes the bag from your Bags dictionary.
Deleting a bag from your dictionary does not remove trip bags that were already copied into trips. Existing trip bags stay in those trips until you change or delete them there.
