Add a todo to the dictionary
Use this when you want to save a reusable task in your Todos dictionary.
- Open the Dashboard, expand the Dictionary section, and click Todos.
- Click the Add button with the plus icon. The Add Todo form opens.
- Enter the todo name. Add category and notes if you want to keep extra details in the dictionary.
- Click Submit.
- Plantour saves the todo in your Todos dictionary and returns you to the list.
- Make sure the new todo is visible in the list. If needed, use the name filter to find it faster.
Use the dictionary when you want to keep reusable preparation tasks such as Check passports, Buy sunscreen, or Charge power bank and copy them into trips later.
Update an existing dictionary todo
Use this when you want to change the saved name, category, or notes of a todo in your Todos dictionary.
- Open the Dashboard, expand the Dictionary section, and click Todos.
- Select the todo you want to change so it is highlighted.
- Click the Update button with the pencil icon. The Edit Todo form opens.
- Change the fields you want to update.
- Click Submit.
- Plantour saves the updated dictionary todo and returns you to the list.
Updating a todo in your dictionary does not change trip todos that were already copied into trips earlier. Those trip todos keep their own trip data.
Delete a todo from the dictionary
Use this when you no longer want a todo to stay in your reusable dictionary.
- Open the Dashboard, expand the Dictionary section, and click Todos.
- Select the todo you want to remove so it is highlighted.
- Click the Delete button with the trash icon.
- Confirm the deletion.
- Plantour removes the todo from your Todos dictionary.
Deleting a todo from your dictionary does not remove trip todos that were already copied into trips. Existing trip todos stay in those trips until you change or delete them there.
